How it works
Kvaterka isn't a classifieds board. It's a platform that remembers what happened: who agreed with whom, whether the rental actually took place, and what both sides said about each other afterward.
For tenants
- Find an apartment
Search understands not just "daily" and "yearly" but everything in between — from a few days to several months.
- Send a request
This isn't a booking yet: the host sees your request and responds. If they don't respond in time, the request expires on its own, and you're not left wondering.
- Work out the details in messages
Before confirmation, messaging stays inside the platform. That way both sides keep a record of what was agreed, in case a dispute comes up later.
- Check in and mark your arrival
The exact address opens up after confirmation — until then, only the neighborhood shows on the map.
- Confirm the rental happened
Both sides do this. It's the confirmation, not the payment, that closes out the rental.
- Leave a review
Both sides' reviews publish at the same time, so nobody can read the other one first and shape theirs to match.
For hosts
Posting is free. Your listing goes through moderation, then appears in search. You respond to requests, confirm the rental, and get paid directly by the tenant.
The platform takes a 5% fee — only from the host, and only after both sides confirm the rental happened. More about the fee.
The platform doesn't touch rental money
You hand over the rent and deposit to each other directly, as agreed. Kvaterka isn't a party to your deal, doesn't accept rental payments, and doesn't hold your money.
What this means in practice. The platform can't "give you your money back", because it never received it. What it can do is keep the message history, the check-in and check-out confirmations, and review a dispute based on those records.
